Adopt a ‘first come-first completed’ protocol. It can be tempting to finish off the smaller jobs even if they come in later – but do not do that.
Complete the work that comes in first (even if it’s more difficult), so that you can meet the deadline. Keep an eye on the deadlines for the different jobs and have a system in place to ensure that you are not late. It might be helpful to use sites like Trello or Microsoft Teams to keep yourself organized.
It’s horrible to complete a piece of content for a client and when you want to deliver the file, you can’t find it.
And horror of horrors – you need to do it all over again!
So, be organized and you’ll save yourself a lot of hassle.
#15 Ask for Testimonials
Last but not least, contact your satisfied clients and ask them for a testimonial/review. The more social proof you get, the better your account will look to potential clients.
If you don’t ask, you don’t get. So ask away. “The squeaky wheel gets the grease” as they say.
