5 Income Boosting Tips for Struggling Digital Marketers

#4 Be Unique, Be Innovative

To stand out in a crowded Digital Marketing landscape, it’s important to be unique and innovative in your approach. This could mean developing a unique marketing strategy or offering a new and innovative service that sets you apart from your competitors. By being creative and innovative, you can attract higher-paying clients and increase your income.

This is perhaps the toughest thing for most marketers to embrace. People in general like to follow in the footsteps of others. It makes them feel less insecure.

But someone, at some point, had to take that first step. And those marketing pioneers are the legends that bring in the most money. Not only can you earn money by being first, but you have another income opportunity in sharing your techniques.

Teaching what you’ve done to other marketers is a lucrative way to boost your profits. Whether it’s an idea for more web traffic, search engine optimization, product creation or reviews, marketers are ready to jump on the chance to learn what works.

Some people prefer to keep their methods to themselves, but you can bet others are paying attention to what you’re doing and they’ll try to replicate it anyway. You might as well benefit financially from it.

No matter what business model you’re using, you can come up with different and new ways of doing things for your audience. For example, if you’re in the services industry and ghostwriting for others, you might come up with packages specifically made for niche marketers.

An “all-in-one” bundle deal where you create an information product for them, complete with a sales letter, lead magnet, email autoresponders, blog posts, product reviews and social posts would go over very well – and most ghostwriters aren’t offering anything like that.

Exclusivity sells! Whether it’s limiting the number of people who can access your webinar or course, or allowing only subscribers to get advanced access to a product– these kinds of deals that most aren’t offering will be received very well.

You could pair the information product model with coaching without taking on one-on-one coaching clients. Simply let the course unfold on a daily or weekly basis and do some hand holding by allowing people to ask questions in the comments section or emailing you directly.

You wouldn’t have to label it as live coaching, but rather something where you’re available for those who need help along the way. Most digital product vendors merely sell a PDF or video course and abandon the customers ongoing needs.
